yesterday was wonderful. just fantastic. yesterday made me realize why
i love him, made me realize why we are together in the first place. i
came over and he gave me my first present, a gift certificate for an
hour long massage, a manicure and a pedicure at the spa. i freaked out.
then he made me my favorite dish for dinner (spaghetti and clamsauce
which is a real bitch to make and it turned out GOOD), and then we
watched the phantom of the opera which he had rented for me. and then
we made love to our song on repeat. it was wonderful. he treats me like
a queen. apparently my other gift, yeah that's right my other gift, is
coming tomorrow. i have no idea what it is. i'm making him a quilt of
these beautiful tie dye and batik fabrics in his favorite color. in the
middle of making it my sewing machine broke down so that sucks
but i'm working on my mom's now so it's ok. yesterday was just
wonderful. i love him so much. Evan is my darling and i never want to
be without him. i don't think i could be without him. he's my life
partner. he's my lobster, my swan, my mourning dove, my penguin. i love
him so much.

| Well, today is the day. one whole year of evan and i. nonstop lovin'
for a year. i'm going over to his house as soon as he wakes up. i have
to dress kind of nice but not formally. i have no idea what that man
has up his sleeve but i'm excited to find out. i feel awful though.
because last night i was supposed to call him at midnight to say happy
anniversary and i fell asleep. but it might be for the better, last
night was an atrociously busy night for him at work. plus i was working
on his gift last night and i was all pumped up and going to put all my
love into it, and then my sewing machine wouldn't work!!!!! GRRR!!!! so
i got the other one out, but i was too tired, so i just worked on the
embroidery part of it. it'll take a while to finish this particular
gift. that's the way my gifts always are, late. really good, but late.
but i suppose that's alright because evan said that part of what he's
giving me won't be here until tuesday. so i guess i'm alright. i hope
he likes what i'm making. it took me forever to pick the stuff out for
it. finally he'll have something to replace that stupid comforter where
THAT happened and that silly looking purple one. something pretty for
us to do the dirty on. the fabrics i picked out are beautiful. they'll
look really good in his room and they're his favorite colors so i hope
he likes them.
oh i just love my goober so much. he's my honey love.
i love everybody, but goober the most.

I have a little robin family in the tree right outside my window and the babies just hatched. the parents are working around the clock to find them food. i get to watch them all the time and this is what they look like. they are so cute. i adore them. adelaide, my bird loves them too. how is everyone? i'm pretty good. finals are alright but a little stressful. i love everybody. muah.
